So I stumbled upon an article on RantSports about hot athletes who actually aren't very good, but when I saw former LFL player Liz Gorman on the list I had to stop and write this post! Now first things first, Liz is definitely very hot, as you can see from these pics.

More LFL games needed!

The 2015 LFL USA schedule and teams competing are set to be announced January 20 and from a fan perspective, there simply wasn't enough games in 2014! The regular season consisted of five teams in both the Eastern and Western Conference, each team playing every other team once for a total of four games. The most basic issue here is that this involved two home and two road games. The probability of a win is significantly higher at home than on the road, so the luck of the draw in terms of which games are at home can significantly affect the final standings.

Tough break for Sindy Cummings

Sindy Cummings plays QB for the Las Vegas Sin. She had an outstanding 2014 season, being nominated for both Offensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year.

Following the US season, Sindy travelled to Australia to play LFL in Queensland, where in a recent game she unfortunately sustained a vertebrae fracture, meaning at least three months out. Best of luck with the recovery and hope to see you back on the gridiron in 2015 Sindy!

What about lingerie soccer leagues too?

Although the LFL has international ambitions, with leagues in Canada and Australia and plans for more, a big issue could be the fact that American football is a minority sport in most of the world. This will obviously make it more difficult to attract the audiences required to sustain international leagues. As such, why not create soccer leagues instead in those countries where it's the most popular form of football? In addition to a vastly increased potential audience, there'd also be far less risk of injury given the reduced level of physicality, which would mitigate one of the major complaints regarding the lack of medical insurance for the players.

The delectable Angela Rypien plays QB for the Seattle Mist as of the 2014 season. She's the daughter of Redskins Super Bowl XXVI MVP and 2x Pro Bowler Mark Rypien.

She was named #1 in the ‘LFL Top 50 Hottest Athletes of All-Time’ in 2014.

She was born in 1990 in Reston, Virginia, and was previously a stylist.

She signed to play QB for the Baltimore Charm in 2012, but that season was subsequently cancelled.
